MSNBC Hosts Attack Al Franken’s Victims

Mika Brzezinski mostly doubted Leeann Tweeden's account, even though she had photographic evidence of the harassment.

The co-hosts of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” attacked Sen. Al Franken’s (D-MN) accusers on their show Friday morning, with co-host Mika Brzezinski wondering if “all women need to be believed.”

Brezezinski took issue with the fact that one of Franken’s accusers was a Republican “Playboy model who goes on Hannity, who voted for Trump.”

“I see some politics there, but I haven’t brought that up every step of the way because, of course, in this ‘Me Too’ environment, you must always just believe the women,” she said.

Leeann Tweeden, the woman Brzezinski was referencing, had photographic evidence of Franken’s harassment.

Prior to Brzezinksi’s criticism of Tweeden, her co-host and fiancée, Joe Scarborough, attacked “little right-wingers who are 14 or 15 years-old” online who tried to defend Franken’s accusers from Brzezinki’s previous barrage of attacks.

“So why don’t you go back and, you know, get your juicy-juice and go back in your basement and play with your legos and actually read up on a little history [before criticizing Brzezinski],” Scarborough ranted in an embarrassing tirade.

Stephanie Ruhle, another MSNBC host who tweets frequently about “girl power,” praised “Morning Joe” for “bravely raising questions” about Franken’s accusers:
