The panel on MSNBC’s “Deadline: White House” accused President Trump of being a white nationalist on Wednesday, and claimed that Trump kept a book of Adolf Hitler’s speeches next to his bed.

“I’m not willing to let white voters off the hook. I think they, like the rest of us, should be treated at adults. And I think that there are a large number, I would say a majority, of white Americans in the country – who are not just Democrats but who are people of conscience who are good Americans,” New York Times editorial board member Mara Gay said, who need to “move” to reality.

The reality? That “we have a white nationalist president who’s a threat to American democracy.”

Bloomberg‘s Tim O’Brien then accused Trump of being a “bigot and a white nationalist for a long time.”

“This is a guy who kept a book of Hitler’s speeches on a nightstand by his bed,” O’Brien added.

O’Brien is referring to an accusation made by Trump’s ex-wife Ivana Trump made in a 1990 Vanity Fair article.

Trump has denied Ivana’s claims, saying, “if I had these speeches, and I am not saying that I do, I would never read them.”
