MSNBC Repeatedly Runs Flawed Graphic of Countries’ Flags

A single mistake is one thing. Two is another. But to run the same incorrect graphic three times is embarrassing.

MSNBC repeatedly ran a flawed graphic about multiple countries’ decisions to expel Russian diplomats on Tuesday, misidentifying the flags of various countries involved.

The graphic screwed up the flags of four countries on the list. It appears that the designer placed the Czech flag on Italy’s slot and accidentally moved the next three flags further down a spot than they should have been.

Flags accompanying Italy, Netherlands, Denmark, and the Czech Republic all should have been attributed to another country.

The graphic first appeared on MSNBC in the 10 AM hour, and NTK cited this segment for its otherwise correct information.

But the graphic then reappeared in the 11 AM and 2 PM hours, still flawed and with no corrections.
