"I don't know anything about the situation," Nadler responded while walking away.

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY) wouldn’t say whether he thought Dr. Vanessa Tyson, who has accused Virginia Lt. Governor Justin Fairfax (D-VA) of sexual assault, should be believed on Friday.

America Rising Squared posted a video of Nadler being asked whether the accuser of Fairfax should be believed.

“I don’t know anything about the situation,” Nadler responded while walking away.

Tyson released a statement earlier this week saying that what started as “consensual kissing” with Fairfax quickly turned into forced oral sex, allegations that Fairfax has denied.

Democrats have largely remained silent about the allegations against Fairfax.
