Neera Tanden Implies Wildfire Destruction of Rupert Murdoch’s House is an Act of God

Center for American Progress president Neera Tanden implied that the wildfire destruction of Fox News owner Rupert Murdoch’s home was an act of God in a tweet on Wednesday.

Responding to NBC reports that wildfires raging around Los Angeles had burned the media mogul’s house to the ground, Tanden said, “There’s a God. And she’s unhappy.”

Tanden did not mention whether the destruction of other Los Angeles residents’ homes was also a part of God’s judgement.

Murdoch is the owner of NewsCorp, which is the parent company of Fox News and its related entities. Tanden is a former Clinton operative.
