The Republican Governors Association (RGA) released a new ad that highlights the concerns that many of Florida’s law enforcement officers have with the policies that the Democratic candidate for governor, Andrew Gillum, has proposed on Thursday.

The 30-second ad, which is titled, “Worried,” features several law enforcement officers talking directly to the camera about their concerns with Gillum’s policies.

“Law enforcement professionals are worried about Andrew Gillum,” Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey said.

“Andrew Gillum is connected to the most radical forces in Florida,” Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly added, as a news report appears on screen saying that Gillum signed an “anti-police pledge.”

“They want an end to the current prison and policing system,” Seminole County Sheriff Dennis Lemma said.

“They’re that radical,” Sheriff Wayne Ivey continued.

“And Andrew Gillum is part of their movement,” Sheriff Rick Staly said.

“That’s why sheriffs, deputies, and police want you to know the truth about Andrew Gillum,” Sheriff Dennis Lemma said.

“Keeping Florida safe is our job,” Ivey said. “I have deep concerns about Andrew Gillum.”

“Learn about Andrew Gillum before it’s too late,” Lemma concluded.

“The brave men and women of law enforcement are worried about Andrew Gillum because they know his radical agenda would make Florida less safe,” RGA Communications Director Jon Thompson said in a statement about the ad. “Gillum is connected to the most radical forces in Florida and is a part of the same movement that wants an end to the current prison and policing system. Andrew Gillum’s radical anti-police agenda would be a disaster for Florida.”
