Republican Josh Hawley released a new campaign ad, which ties Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-MO) to controversial comments that Hillary Clinton made during a recent trip to India.

The ad, which is titled, “Claire McCaskill for Hillary Clinton,” was released on Monday and featured clips of Clinton’s comments in India with news reports that highlighted McCaskill’s support for Clinton during the 2016 election.

During a discussion at the India Today Conclave, Clinton suggested that Trump supporters didn’t like African Americans “getting rights” or women “getting jobs.”

“If you look at a map of the United States, there’s all that red in the middle where Trump won,” Clinton says at the start of the ad.

“In Claire McCaskill’s America, Hillary is the president,” text reads on the screen. “Senator McCaskill led the Hillary coalition.”

The ad then highlights how McCaskill was the first member of Congress to get behind Clinton’s 2016 campaign.

“And what does Hillary Clinton think about us?” the ad asked.

“I won the places that are optimistic, diverse, dynamic, moving forward,” Clinton says in the ad. “And his whole campaign, ‘Make America Great Again,’ was looking backwards. You know, you didn’t like black people getting rights. You don’t like women, you know, getting jobs.”

“This is what Claire McCaskill and her ‘president’ think of you,” the ad concludes.
