New Digital Ad Targets Democrats for Their Role in the Government Shutdown

The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) released a new digital ad that targets 10 House Democrats for their role in the three-day government shutdown on Tuesday.

The 15-second video highlights how each of the 10 House Democrats voted last week to shutdown the government while also voting against funding the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP).

The ad’s narrator concludes the ad by tying the 10 House Democrats to House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA).

The ad will run on Facebook for one week and is part of a five-figure buy, according to the NRCC.

The ad targets 10 House Democrats who are considered vulnerable in the upcoming 2018 midterm elections:
