New Poll Shows 3 Senate Races Too Close to Call Just Days Before Election Day

With just nine days until Election Day, a new CBS News Battleground Tracker poll shows just how tight the races will be to take control the United States Senate as Florida, Arizona, and Indiana are all up for grabs.

In Florida, Sen. Bill Nelson (D-FL) and Governor Rick Scott (R-FL) are tied among likely voters, each receiving 46 percent according to the CBS News poll, which was released on Sunday.

Arizona Democratic candidate Rep. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) is leading her Republican opponent, Rep. Martha McSally (R-AZ), 47 percent to 44 percent.

Sinema’s small lead is despite a recent string of bad headlines for the Democrat regarding controversial statements she made in the past regarding Arizonians.

And in Indiana, Sen. Joe Donnelly (D-IN) finds himself trailing his Republican opponent Mike Braun, 46 percent to 43 percent.

According to CBS News:

“President Trump appears to be a large factor in these states. In all of them, large majorities say their vote for Senate will be either to support or oppose the president.”
