NPR’s Maria Hinojosa suggested that pedophiles will start applying for jobs at migrant shelters, during an interview with MSNBC on Tuesday.

MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle asked Hinojosa why the Trump administration is only releasing images of young boys, and not pictures of young girls, from the migrant shelters.

Hinojosa said it is because it plays into the Trump administration’s narrative that these are potential MS-13 members gang who are trying to enter the U.S.

“I’m just thinking, Stephanie, in terms of the logistics of taking care of these people. I’m so worried about how many pedophiles are now signing up to go and work in these places,” Hinojosa said.

Hinojosa then compared that Trump administration’s policies to those implemented by Nazi Germany.
