Ocasio-Cortez to Fellow Dems: ‘I’m not Locked Up In Here With You. You’re Locked Up In Here With Me’

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) tweeted a message to her fellow Democrats on Friday telling them, “I’m not locked up in here with you. You’re locked up in here with me.”

“To quote Alan Moore: “None of you understand. I’m not locked up in here with YOU. You’re locked up in here with ME,” Ocasio-Cortez tweeted with a laughing emoji.

Ocasio-Cortez was responding to tweet citing a Politico story about how “exasperated Democrats” are trying to “rein in” the freshman Congresswoman. ‏

The quote Ocasio-Cortez used by Alan Moore is from his graphic novel, Watchmen, and is said by the character Rorschach before he starts a full-blown prison riot.
