Attorney General Josh Hawley (R-MO) has the lead over Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-MO) in Trafalgar Group’s final poll of the Missouri U.S. Senate race, but another poll from NBC News and Marist College suggests the hard-fought contest is too close to call with one day until Election Day.

Trafalgar Group found Hawley with a four-point lead over McCaskill, according to The Hill‘s write-up Monday morning:

The Trafalgar Group poll published Monday found that Hawley has the support of 48.3 percent of likely voters in Missouri, while 44.4 percent of likely voters indicated that they will back McCaskill.

The poll is slightly better news for Hawley than other polling in the race, which has shown the two candidates in a neck-and-neck race. The new poll’s results are based on surveys of 1,791 likely voters from Oct. 29 to Nov. 4. Its results have a margin of error of 2.3 percentage points.

NBC News and Marist, meanwhile, found McCaskill has a three-point lead on Hawley, 50-47.

In both polls, though, the contest is within the margin of error, meaning the bitter and expensive contest between Hawley and McCaskill could go down to the wire on election night.
