House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) cried foul when an NPR reporter asked her about her lack of support from Democratic congressional candidates regarding her position in House leadership.

“It is the least important question you could ask, with all due respect to your list of questions there,” Pelosi told NPR’s Scott Detrow over the weekend.

Detrow had asked “whether Pelosi would have enough votes to retake the Speaker’s gavel if Democrats win back control of Congress in November.”

In August, NBC News compiled a list of 57 Democratic candidates and incumbents who have said they would not support Pelosi, if elected.
