Pelosi Flip-Flops on an Accused Sexual Harasser Serving in Congress

"Let's see what he decides to do, okay?" Pelosi responded. "I don't want to speculate on something that may or may not happen."

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) seemed to flip-flop on whether accused sexual harasser Rep. Ruben Kihuen (D-NV) should resign from Congress during her weekly press conference on Thursday.

Kihuen’s campaign finance director had accused the now-congressman of sexual harassment during his 2016 campaign. Following these accusations, Pelosi immediately called on Kihuen to resign from Congress.

Now, though, Fox News is reporting that “Kihuen is reconsidering his decision to not face re-election this fall amid sexual misconduct allegations.”

A reporter asked Pelosi if she still thinks Kihuen should resign given that he is considering running for reelection.

“Let’s see what he decides to do okay,” Pelosi responded. “I don’t want to speculate on something that may or may not happen.”

After the question, Pelosi ended the press conference.
