House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi(D-CA) said that she was all for new leadership in the House Democratic Caucus during an interview with KQED on Friday.

KQED reporter Scott Shafer asked Pelosi about what she expects from the Democratic candidates who have said they would not support her if they are elected.

“Just win baby,” Pelosi said, a reference to deceased Oakland Raiders owner Al Davis.

Shafer pressed Pelosi on what she thinks these Democrats should do regarding leadership votes after their theoretical wins.

Pelosi ignored the question and instead told Shafer that Republicans attack her because they know she’s an effective legislator.

Shafer then asked Pelosi whether she could remove this issue by publicly saying she won’t run for speaker.

“You remove it by saying, ‘I want to be for somebody new.’ That removes it off the table. Now what do the Republicans have to say?” Pelosi said.

“So, you’re saying these candidates are saying, ‘I’m for new leadership–'” Shafer began before Pelosi interjected.

“That’s okay, I’m for new leadership,” she said.
