The House Democratic caucus nominated Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) to be their candidate for speaker on Wednesday, but the California Democrat still needs to flip 18 votes if she hopes to regain the speaker’s gavel.

Pelosi was elected speaker-designate with 203 votes. Only 32 members of Democratic caucus voted against Pelosi, and another three left their ballots blank, according to NBC News.

Of the 203 Democrats who voted for Pelosi, four “are likely from delegates,” according to the Washington Post‘s Paul Kane. Delegates do not get to vote for speaker.

Absent from today’s vote was Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney (D-NY), who said he would vote for Pelosi to be the next speaker. Maloney was hospitalized earlier this week with a bacterial infection.

That means Pelosi still needs to flip 18 of the 35 House Democrats who didn’t vote for her today to become speaker in January.
