Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) seemed to open the door to impeaching President Trump, telling reporters, “When the times comes, we’ll see,” during an event in Ferguson, Missouri on Monday.

Pelosi recently made national headlines when she told the Washington Post that Trump wasn’t worth impeaching, causing many to assume that impeachment was off the table.

A reporter asked Pelosi about her recent decision not to pursue impeachment.

“Let me disagree with you on one thing. It hasn’t been recent. I have always said that until we have the reports and the rest of that, that we shouldn’t be spending our time on that,” Pelosi said.

Pelosi then went on to discuss the House Democrats’ agenda, on which she said Congress should be spending its time.

“At the same time, our committees of jurisdiction are exercising their constitutional responsibility to have oversight over the Executive Branch,” Pelosi said. “So that’s how we should be spending our time, to improve the financial stability of America’s working families, as we have oversight over the president.”

“When I said he’s not worth it, it got your attention. I’ve been saying this for two years that he shouldn’t be impeached. But when I said he’s not worth it, then it got the press. And what he’s not worth is the financial stability of America’s working families and that’s what we’re trying to correct,” Pelosi said.

“And when the time comes, we’ll see,” Pelosi concluded.
