Vice President Mike Pence, in a speech in Philadelphia on Monday, sent a tough message to the regime in Iran, echoing the president’s Sunday tweet.

“While the Iranian people have been standing up in the streets, standing up to their dictators in Iran, this president put Iran on notice,” Pence said, touting Trump’s cancelation of the JCPOA.

“We will no longer tolerate Iran sewing violence or terror across the world, and we will not tolerate threats against the United States of America,” the vice president added, pointing his finger at the crowd for emphasis.

President Trump tweeted Sunday evening, in an all-caps warning, that Iran will “suffer” if they threaten the United States again.
