Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Chris Long announced that he would not go to the White House if the Eagles win the Super Bowl on Sunday during an interview on the “Pardon My Take” podcast released Monday.

“If you guys win the Super Bowl, are you going to the White House?” a Barstool reporter asked Long.

“No, I’m not going to the White House,” Long responded. “Are you kidding me?”

Long, who was a member of the New England Patriots last season also elected not to visit the White House after the team won the Super Bowl in 2017.

“My son grows up, and I believe the legacy of our president is going to be what it is, I don’t want him to say, ‘Hey dad, why’d you go [to the White House] when you knew the right thing was to not go?'” Long said about not going to the White House in 2017.
