A pair of new polls in Colorado’s 6th Congressional District show two very different races for the hotly-contested seat.

One poll puts Crow one point ahead of Coffman, 46-45. That poll, conducted by the Tarrance Group, was released by the Coffman campaign, and shows another nine percent of voters still undecided. With just 35 days to go until Election Day, this poll shows the race going either way.

Another poll, conducted by a liberal super PAC, showed Crow leading Coffman, 49-38. Unlike the Tarrance Group poll, that poll shows the race outside of the poll’s 4.9-percent margin of error.

The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) announced recently it would spend an additional $600,000 on TV ads in the district to support Coffman. But they’re not the only ones backing the congressman:

The National Association of Realtors and a nonprofit called No Labels have also dropped about $1.6 million into the race on Coffman’s behalf.

In the past, Coffman has been able to successfully rely on Democrat and independent voters splitting their tickets to vote for him. The Tarrance Group poll shows some of that crossover, but he’ll likely need more support to emerge victorious in November:

This time around, the Tarrance Group poll shows Coffman getting votes from 4 percent of registered Democrats and 35 percent of people who registered as unaffiliated. Crow, on the other hand, is favored by 8 percent of Republicans and 33 percent of unaffiliated voters in the district, according to the poll.

Keep an eye on this race as the final weeks approach – it’s likely to be a close contest to the end.
