Protester at Green New Deal Press Conference: ‘This Program Is Insane’

"This bill is crazy, this program is insane," the protestor can be heard shouting.

A protester interrupted Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Sen. Ed Markey’s (D-MA) press conference unveiling their ‘Green New Deal’ proposal outside the Capitol on Thursday.

“This bill is crazy, this program is insane,” the protester can be heard shouting while Ocasio-Cortez began delivering her initial remarks about the Green New Deal.

Some of the more ludicrous aspects of the ‘Green New Deal,’ include retrofitting every single building in America, phasing out air travel in 10 years, and printing money to pay for it.
