Russian President Vladimir Putin took a pretty bad fall during a victory lap after scoring eight goals during an exhibition hockey game in Sochi on Friday.

The game, which has become something of an annual tradition, featured ex-NHL stars Slava Fetisov and Pavel Bure, according to TMZ.

The 66-year-old Putin’s team won 14 to 7, and Putin scored eight goals himself. Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu scored an additional three goals.

ABC News’ Twitter account tweeted a video of Putin falling face down on the ice while taking a lap.
