Report: CNN Host Asked Trump-Russia Conspiracy Theorist to Come on His Show

The Daily Beast‘s Max Tani published a detailed report about famed Trump-Russia conspiracy theorist Seth Abramson’s plans to publish a book of all his wildest theories. Abramson, a New Hampshire professor, spends most of his time spouting about shadow connections between the president and Russia on Twitter.

“Why does anyone still listen to Seth Abramson?” asked liberal publication ThinkProgress. His Twitter bio previously claimed that he was a lawyer, but ThinkProgress confirmed that he is not a member of the New Hampshire bar.

But it turns out his theories aren’t crazy enough for mainstream journalists, with one CNN host wanting to bring him on his prime time show.

Abramson name-checks reporters with whom he claims he speaks regularly, including journalists from The Wall Street Journal and The Atlantic, and includes a recent email in which CNN host Chris Cuomo asked Abramson: “How come you have not been on with me?”

It appears that despite his descent into the depths of Trump-Russia conspiracy theories, CNN and other mainstream outlets consider Abramson a reliable point of contact.
