Report: Kim Jong-un Loves Michael Wolff’s ‘Fire and Fury’ Book

Fact-checkers are picking apart Michael Wolff’s glorified hit piece on the Trump presidency, but the author did get one key endorsement: North Korea’s state-run newspaper, according to The New York Post.

Based on excerpts from the article, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un must be delighted with the new book, which trashes his geopolitical rival:

Sales of the best-selling “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House” reflect “rapidly surging anti-Trump sentiments in the international community,” an article in North Korean newspaper Rodong Sinmun said, the Associated Press reported. “The anti-Trump book is sweeping all over the world so Trump is being massively humiliated worldwide.”

It’s popularity “foretells Trump’s political demise,” the article concluded.

“Voices calling for the impeachment of Trump are on the rise not only in the United States but also abroad,” the newspaper said. “Since the book was published, it has triggered a debate on whether Trump is qualified to be president, even in Western Europe.”

The North Korean article inadvertently reveals, however, that Pyongyang is desperate to remove Trump from office. Perhaps the president’s tough talk with Kim is motivating the regime to push for his removal.
