REPORT: More Women Donated to Trump’s Reelection in Q1 Than Any 2020 Dem

Democrats have attempted to paint President Trump as having an issue with women voters, but The Daily Caller followed the money that 2020 presidential candidates received in the first quarter of 2019, and it tells a very different story.

Trump received 10,375 donations from women in the first quarter of 2019, which is more than the combined totals of Sens. Kamala Harris (D-CA), Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and former Rep. Beto O’Rourke (D-TX).

Harris was the Democratic candidate that received the most donations from women in the first quarter of 2019 with 3,850 total, followed by Sanders with 3,271.

The good news doesn’t stop there for Trump, as his average donation per woman donor was far lower than his opponents.

“Trump’s average donation per woman donor is also much lower than his top female opponents. New York Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand’s average donation was $1,321, and Sen. Harris’s average was $935 per woman respectively, while Trump’s donors average out to $141.”

The Daily Caller also pointed out that “Trump stacks up especially well against his Democratic competitors when looking at the gender breakdown of his donors.”

In a demographic breakdown of donors, Trump came in third in gender parity with 45.45 percent, trailing only Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand’s (D-NY) 52.48 percent and Harris’ 49.27 percent.

Former Vice President Joe Biden is not included in this report because he did not officially launch his presidential campaign until after the first quarter of 2019.
