A Mexican restaurant in Rhode Island is in some hot water after selling t-shirts that advocated “get[ting] rid of or replac[ing]” President Trump.

Amigos, a Mexican restaurant located in Westerly, “sold shirts with the logo, ’86 45,’ printed on the back to raise money for political candidates,” according to the Associated Press.

Wendy Carr, the owner of the restaurant, explained that “86” is a term used in the service industry, which “means to get rid of or replace an order.”

A Twitter user tweeted out a picture of restaurant staff wearing the shirt on Monday:

Republican state Sen. Elaine Morgan blasted Amigos for selling the shirts, claiming they “are calling for violence against Trump, the 45th president,” according to the AP.

Carr defended the shirts, telling the AP that they “don’t advocate harm” against Trump.

However, the restaurant will no longer be selling the shirts, and that staff will no longer wear the shirts, because “the restaurant has received threats from around the country,” according to Carr.
