RNC Has Surpassed 50 Million Volunteer Voter Contacts in 2018

The Republican National Committee (RNC) announced on Friday that it had surpassed “50 million volunteer voter contacts across 28 states and 172 congressional districts,” three weeks before the 2018 midterm elections.

The 50 million volunteer voter contacts the RNC reached this cycle is more than the committee has made in any other election cycle, according to the RNC.

The RNC has also hired more than 500 field staffers in 28 states this cycle and signed up more than 200,000 volunteers.

But that’s not all – the RNC has also invested $200 million in data over past several cycles.

“The Republican Party’s victories are driven by a permanent field program that keeps us connected with voters everywhere,” RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said in a statement. “We engage Americans on the issues that matter to them, offering everyone a home in our Party of opportunity. I am grateful to our staff and more than 200,000 volunteers for helping us make over 50 million voter contacts and energizing their communities ahead of the midterms.”

Under the leadership of McDaniel, the RNC has raised more than $250 million during the 2018 election cycle, which is a record for a nonpresidential election cycle.

According to the RNC, their “data-driven ground game remains unmatched by any other organization or political party.”
