Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign manager Robby Mook said on CNN Thursday that Democrats should not be campaigning with Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN) until there’s more information about the allegations of domestic abuse against him.

Ellison’s ex-girlfriend Karen Monahan accused Ellison of emotionally and physically abusing her during their relationship, just days before the Minnesota primary. Ellison has denied these allegations.

CNN’s Kate Bolduan asked Mook whether he thinks Democrats should be campaigning with Ellison given these allegations.

“I think it’s still very early. I mean I think we need to let the process play out to look if this is true, and if it’s true, you know, I think he needs to be held accountable,” Mook said. “I don’t think people should be campaigning with him.”
