The former Trump campaign adviser told CNN that there would be no collusion to testify about, but he would help Mueller wrap up the investigation.
Former Trump campaign operative Roger Stone told CNN’s Anderson Cooper on Wednesday evening that he would never testify against President Trump, saying there was no collusion with Russia to prove.
The former adviser warned that prosecutors sometimes “squeeze” low-level staffers to testify against their boss. “I’ve made it abundantly clear that there’s no circumstances under which I would testify against the president,” he said.
Stone added there would be nothing to testify about.
“I know that there exists nowhere evidence of Russia collusion or Wikileaks collaboration or any nonsense pertaining to John Podesta’s email,” he said.
The political operative left open the possibility to “cooperating” with Special Counsel Robert Mueller, if he could help peel back the curtains on what actually happened in 2016.
