“I don't have anything to say about documents like that, that nobody has the courage to put their name on," Rosenstein said.

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein said on Tuesday that the Department of Justice will not be extorted, when asked about articles of impeachment that the House Freedom Caucus had drafted against him.

A reporter asked Rosenstein if he had any reaction to the news that members of the House Freedom Caucus have talked about drafting articles of impeachment against him.

“The can’t even resist leaking their own drafts,” Rosenstein joked.

“I don’t have anything to say about documents like that, that nobody has the courage to put their name on,” Rosenstein said. “But I can tell you there have been people who have been making threats privately and publicly against me for quite some time, and I think they should understand by now the Department of Justice is not going to be extorted.”
