For years, Hillary Clinton collected six-figure paychecks for delivering speeches to corporations, special interests, and other groups eager to gain the would-be presidential candidate’s favor.

My, how the mighty have fallen.

On Thursday, Clinton spoke at Rutgers University and made headlines for implying that Russia could have influenced the outcome of the 2016 presidential election in 21 states.

She also earned a $25,000 paycheck – no small sum to the “everyday Americans” Clinton so often talked about on the campaign trail, but a far cry from the $210,000 average speaking fee that she and her husband, former President Bill Clinton, earned prior to Clinton’s second presidential run.

In fact, Clinton’s haul is a significant enough departure from her usual fee that she dropped below star of “The Jersey Shore,” Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi. In 2011, Rutgers invited the New Jersey native to speak at a sold-out event for $32,000. The New York Post reported that Snooki earned more than Nobel Prize-winning author Toni Morrison.

“Study hard, but party harder,” Snooki famously told the Rutgers students.

Here’s what wrote about the pay disparity between the reality star and Clinton:

In a lifetime of indignities — Bill and Monica; losing the Presidential election to a reality television star; that unfortunate India incident a few weeks ago when she fell down the steps (twice), lost her shoe, and later slipped in the hotel bathtub and fractured her wrist — is there anything worse than being paid $7K less than a woman who made her name blacking out on reality television and referring to herself as a “meatball”?

We think not.
