Early Thursday morning, the United States Senate took its first steps to repeal ObamaCare, fulfilling a promise that Senate Republican’s have been campaigning on for years.

Democrats, however, refused to let the vote happen without conducting an unusual protest on the Senate floor.

Debate on the budget resolution had concluded, but Senate Democrats decided they would attempt to continue the debate when casting their votes.

Sadly for the Senate Democrats, their attempt to continue the debate was drowned out by Senator Cory Gardner (R-CO), who was presiding over the Senate at the time, and the Senate gavel.
