Suspicious packages were sent to CNN’s offices in New York City, the homes of former Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton on Wednesday.

According to CNBC, the Secret Service said the packages that were sent to Obama and Clinton were “potential explosive devices,” but were intercepted “by agency personnel.”

Shortly thereafter, New York City police were called to CNN’s offices in the “Time Warner Center in midtown Manhattan to investigate another suspicious package.”

The delivery of these suspicious packages to CNN, Clinton, and Obama follow the discovery of an explosive device in the mailbox of the billionaire Democratic donor George Soros on Monday.

It is not yet known whether these incidents are linked.
