CNN’s Jake Tapper said that there is “no contemporaneous, corroborating evidence for any of the charges” against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh on Thursday.

Three women have come forward to accuse Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct, but no one has been able to corroborate any of their claims.

“They’re brutal accusations, and his denial is so unequivocal that there’s nothing that happened that he can even understand why these charges would be brought forward,” Tapper said. “At the same time, there is, as of now, no contemporaneous, corroborating evidence for any of the charges, as far as we know. We haven’t seen anybody emerge and say, ‘Yes, I remember that.’ And that is an important part of this story, as well”
