The Mainstream Media’s Coverage of Donald Trump Has Been 92% Negative

A study conducted by the Media Reacher Center (MRC) found that 92 percent of the media’s coverage of President Trump and his administration has been negative. Worse still is that they have spent hardly any time on Trump’s economic successes.

The MRC study focused on ABC, CBS, and NBC evening news coverage from June 1, 2018, to September 30, 2018, which is the “equivalent of about 32.7 hours of coverage,” according to Investor’s Business Daily.

According to MRC, 92 percent of the network’s coverage of Trump was negative, while only 8 percent was positive.

Roughly two-thirds of the coverage was focused on just five topics: the “Russia investigation, immigration, the Brett Kavanaugh nomination, North Korea, and U.S.-Russia relations.”

While the network focused overwhelmingly on these topics, they spent just 14 minutes on the booming Trump economy, which amounts to .07 percent of the networks’ coverage.
