The Republican National Committee (RNC) had another record-shattering fundraising period, bringing in $26.2 million in September alone and $56 million in the third quarter of 2018.

The $56 million the RNC raised in the third quarter of 2018 “is up about 35 percent from the $41.5 million the party raised in the second quarter of this year,” according to Politico.

“The choice could not be clearer: results versus resistance,” said RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel about the September fundraising numbers. “President Trump and congressional Republicans have achieved many great results for Americans: the lowest unemployment in decades, more jobs here at home, and higher wages across the board. Conversely, Democrats have pushed their resistance agenda to the extreme and are now inciting the far-left mobs.”

This record-shattering fundraising number comes just days after the RNC announced that it had made more than 52 million voter contacts ahead of Election Day.

The RNC has raised $269.9 million so far this cycle, which is more than $150 million more than the Democratic National Committee (DNC) has raised during the 2018 election cycle.

The DNC has struggled with fundraising under the leadership of DNC Chair Tom Perez, raising just $116 million this election cycle.
