President Trump criticized Sen. Claire McCaskill’s (D-MO) voting record at a rally supporting Attorney General Josh Hawley (R-MO) in Missouri on Thursday night.

“The people of Missouri are going to retire far-left Democrat Claire McCaskill, who’s been saying such nice things about me. But you know what? She’ll never vote with me, that’s problem,” Trump said.

The Hill tweeted video of Trump’s remarks:

McCaskill’s effort at pushback was claiming Thursday night that Trump boasted “about [McCaskill’s] bill to reduce the price of prescription drugs.”

Trump was likely referencing the Know the Lowest Price Act of 2018, though. That bill’s sponsor was Sen. Debbie Stabenow (D-MI), not McCaskill. The Missouri senator was a cosponsor, but so were eight Democrats and seven Republicans.

Trump did make one thing overwhelmingly clear on Thursday night: he’s with Hawley in the U.S. Senate race, not McCaskill.
