Appearing on Fox & Friends on Friday morning, President Trump defended his supporters from “vicious” attacks by FBI agents investigating his campaign.

“I have the greatest supporters in the world,” he told Fox’s Steve Doocy. “They’re the smartest. They’re the hardest working. They pay taxes. They’re incredible. They’re loyal.”

“I have the bikers. I have the construction workers. I have them all,” the president added.

Trump expressed bewilderment at the fact that FBI agent Peter Strzok remains at the FBI. “I don’t know how Peter Strzok is still working there,” he said.

“He’s working in HR,” Doocy commented.

“That’s even worse!” the president responded.
