Trump Glad DOJ Caught a Leaker, Looking Forward to Catching Comey’s ‘Band of Thieves’

President Trump told reporters on Friday that it was “very interesting” that federal investigators caught an “important” leaker, calling it a “terrific thing.”

“I’m a big believer in the freedom of the press, but I’m also a believer in classified information,” he said to the press.

Trump named fired FBI Director James “Comey and his band of thieves” as additional leakers of classified information. He expressed hope that they would be brought to justice.

Federal law enforcement charged Senate Intelligence Committee Director of Security James Wolfe with lying to investigators related to a leak investigation.
