At a Capitol Hill meeting with GOP senators on Tuesday, President Trump identified a state he may want to move to after his tenure as president.

The Associated Press‘ Lisa Mascaro tweeted:

Bloomberg‘s Sahil Kapur pointed out Trump’s affinity for West Virginia is not surprising, given the state elected him over Hillary Clinton by a wide margin.

Others were skeptical the lifelong New Yorker and billionaire would move to a state with a reputation for being small and quiet:

Bloomberg‘s Steven Dennis, though, pointed out Trump wouldn’t be the first wealthy businessman to move to West Virginia:

And reporter Matthew Zeitlin suggested West Virginia may be competing with Iowa for the distinction of hosting an ex-president in his post-presidency years.
