President Trump said Thursday that he will address Russian meddling in U.S. elections when he meets with Russian President Vladimir Putin later this week, and that he will tell Putin “don’t do it again.”

Trump made these remarks during a press conference in Brussels on Thursday, ahead of his summit with Putin next week.

“As you know, I’m meeting with President Putin on Monday, and I think we go into that meeting not looking for so much. We want to find out about Syria. And we will, of course, ask your favorite question about meddling. I will be asking that question again,” Trump said.

A reporter interrupted Trump and asked what he will do if Putin denies Russian meddling in U.S. elections.

“Well, he may. I mean, look, he may. You know, what am I going to do if – he may deny it. I mean, it’s one of those things,” Trump said. “So all I can do is say, ‘Did you?’ and ‘Don’t do it again.’ But he may deny. I mean, we’ll – you’ll be the first to know, OK?”
