The UK is headed for a dramatic moment in the years-long Brexit negotiations on Wednesday, as Parliament will have a vote of confidence in Prime Minister Theresa May’s leadership of the country.

According to BBC, the vote will take place from 6 p.m. local time through 8 p.m., or 1 p.m. ET through 3 p.m. ET. The results of the vote will be announced shortly after 3 p.m. ET.

May was defiant on Wednesday, turning her focus to the policies of her Conservative Party’s main foe, Labour.

Meanwhile, May earned the backing of members of her Cabinet and various Tory MPs. One Cabinet member backing May is Michael Gove, a prominent Brexit supporter.

According to BBC, 174 Tory MPs have publicly said they will vote in favor of May. She only needs 158 “to survive.”

But May has already shown signs of compromise with her MPs, suggesting she won’t run for reelection in 2022.

Labour meanwhile, led by the controversial Jeremy Corbyn, is making the case that they should have the chance to lead – no matter what happens to May.
