Rep. Seth Moulton (D-MA), in an appearance on CNN’s “State of the Union,” refuted House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) claim that opposition to her continued leadership is “inconsequential.”

In an interview with Rolling Stone earlier this month, Pelosi brushed off the opposition, saying they are “inconsequential. They don’t have a following in our caucus. None.”

“Tim Ryan ran against her. He had an entire week to campaign, and a third of the caucus voted for him,” Moulton said. “I don’t think that’s inconsequential.”

The Massachusetts Democrat has been an outspoken opponent of Pelosi’s position as Democratic leader.
