Over the weekend, attention was on North Korea and South Korea, as the leaders of those respective countries, Kim Jong-un and Moon Jae-in, met to hash out initial plans for ending the decades-long Korean War and denuclearizing the peninsula.

On Monday, though, the focus was back on President Donald Trump and, more specifically, where he may meet with Kim if and when a historic summit occurs in a few weeks.

Trump himself put his thumb on the scale, suggesting he wants to meet in the infamous demilitarized zone (DMZ) between North Korea and South Korea.

Meanwhile, The Associated Press reported Trump suggested Singapore as another possible meeting location, and that “even a ship in international waters” has been suggested as a meeting venue.

But Trump said that the Southeast Asian city state of Singapore was also in the running to host what few would have predicted when nuclear tensions were soaring last year — the first face-to-face meeting between the leaders of the United States and North Korea.

…There’s been much speculation about where Trump and Kim might meet. Countries in Europe and Southeast Asia, in Mongolia and even a ship in international waters have all been suggested as possible venues. Monday was the first time that Trump had publicly named potential locations.

Meanwhile, as reported by NTK Network on Monday, South Korean President Moon has suggested President Trump should win the Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts on North Korea.
