The special edition Notorious RBG bra was created by Harper Wilde to show their support for the women who will serve in Congress.
Harper Wilde, an online women’s clothing company specializing in bras is selling a Notorious RBG edition bra in honor of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg for $45 on their website.
The company sent a marketing email stating that the special edition Notorious RBG bra was created support for the women who will serve in Congress following the 2018 midterm elections.
“Our bestselling bra just got more supportive,” Harper Wilde website said. “Truth from Ruth: there will be ‘enough’ women on the Supreme Court ‘when there are nine.’ That’s right – the full bench.”
It’s not clear whether Ginsburg approved Harper Wilde using her name on their product or if she will receive compensation form Harper Wilde.
Also, it does not appear that sales for these special edition bras will go to support groups like Emily’s List, which supports women candidates running for office.
